(Due to technical difficulties, I'm having trouble uploading the video. Will get it done asap)
It wasn't an easy match against Northview.
Pressure was on our Captain, defender and goalkeeper. We were behind since the first period at 2-3. No goals during second period. Everyone thought we might lose this one.
However, every grey cloud, has a silver lining.
Our "sleeping dragon", Aryaan finally awaken, and scored the important winning goal.
Our supporters (Parents, teachers, and also our lovely munchkins) cheered and celebrated. It was truly a very memorable moment for us. Well done boys!
As for Unity, our boys had 1 goal in mind.
Score as much as they can.
Fatigue kicks in, luck wasn't on our side at first. All the shots were either on target but missed or off target. The desperation of wanting to score so badly were on our boys' faces.
3-1 for first period.
3-2
3-3
Towards the second half of the second period, our shots finally found the right place to go.
4-3
5-3
6-3
And during third period, although our boys were a bit lost and not following the coach's instructions at first, they managed to get themselves composed and we finished the game at 10-4.
Great job guys! Myself, Mdm Salina and Mr Ramadhan are very proud of you all. Keep this up and remember...
Enjoy the game and put in your very best in every game.

VS Yu Neng
Tough game for us.
Against the team 3rd in last year's National Junior Championships...
We
Managed
To
Secure
A
Draw
6-6
Our floorball team has gone a long way, trailing from behind since 1st period, our boys showed incredible resilience and composure
In particular, our keeper, Ilham, showed awesome keeping skills in all the 3 periods. Saving numerous shots from all angles and most importantly, a penalty shot. (Thanks COACH for the last minute tips on saving a penalty shot! :) )
Myself and all those who have went to support our boys were amazed by his skills.
And of course our last line of defense, Si Qiang played superbly too.
Ilham and Si Qiang, you are my Men of the Match :D
Jet, Max, Jue Cheng, Tarmidzi, Raiyan, Aryaan, Shien Ter
Without your determination and never say die attitude, Endeavour Floorball would never have gone this far.

"I just used what I learnt in soccer"Si Qiang was defending right from the start of the game, till the end. Using his legs and "concrete wall" like defense , he too prevented the opponent from scoring. And best of all, he scored a goal far beyond the halfway court.

You guys rocks!
You may want to turn down the volume at the Third Period :P
Alright, here are the links to the match, do take a look at it and learn from the opponent. They tire us out very quick by making us playing to their pace.
So, what can we do to counter it?
- Stay COOL
- Keep the possession
- Look before you shoot/pass
- Think before making any decision
Yes, it is not easy. You may panic when the opponent start charging towards you. Remember, stay cool. Look out for your team mates in court. Support him when you think you have to.
Have a good rest and be mentally prepared for the match tomorrow against North View!

VS Qihua
A narrow win for our boys.
Yesterday, we had a match at Pasir Ris Primary against Qihua Primary. From the parents and teacher who went to the competition, they said that it was a fierce battle and the heart was thumping like a horse's hooves on a dirt road, it was continuous.
8-7
Comments from the coach for this match was our boys lack tactical discipline.
So what does he mean from that?
For any sport team to win a match, one must be disciplined in all aspects. This means that, for our case, the players must be motivated enough to
1. have his/her own timetable that he/she must follow (time to study, rest, revision, doing of homework, family time, practice)
2. listen to coach/teacher-in-charge's (Mr Ramadhan, Ms Eng and Mdm Salina) instructions.
If anyone of us, especially during a match, tells you what to do (where to stand/how to play/who to mark etc), you have to follow.
Always remember, we always have your best interests at heart.
If you decide not to follow, the coach/teacher has the rights to remove you from the current team as your behavior may jeopardise the team.
Our next match is against a strong team, Yu Neng. Yu Neng's Senior Boys are the runner-up for this year's Senior Boys Competition and they have very good track records from the previous competitions.
Remember what the coach has been telling you, brush up your skills (only after you have completed your revision and homework!) and think back how can you improve from the previous match.
Have a good rest this weekend, and remember to do your homework.

VS Tampines Primary
(At the request of our captain, this post shall be in pink!)
We won our second game!11-3!
Our boys were a bit messy during this game, everyone dashing for the ball, giving our opponent space and time to take a shot at the goal. We could have scored more. Don't be so risky next time boys!
Great job by our keepers, lots of good saves from both of them. Keep it up!
